James M. Ridgely of near Eldersburg, this county, is dead as a result
of an automobile accident which occurred Saturday morning, August 23, about 12.30 o'clock, when his car went over
an embankment.
The deceased was a son of Ernest and Irene Adelle Harris Ridgely,
near Eldersburg. He was graduated from the Sykesville High school with
the class of 1939. Besides his parents he leaves a sister, Helen Louise,
at home.
Funeral rites were conducted at the late residence Tuesday at 10.30 A. M.
The Rev. Karl B. Justus officiated. Burial was in Springfield cemetery,
Sykesville.
