Bernville, April 7--Llewellyn Althouse, 85, retired farmer, died yesterday in the home of his son, Frank Althouse, Bernville R. D. He was born in Center Township, a son of Isaac and Maria (Ketterer) Althouse.
His wife, Catherine (Peiffer), preceded him in death 16 years. Surviving are three sons, Frank, with whom he lived; Henry, of Myerstown; Isaac, of Reading; ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Helen Jordan, of Williamsport, and two brothers, Leo K. Althouse, of Stony Creek Mills, and A. W. Althouse, of Reading.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Schucker Funeral Home, the Rev. E. S. Leinbach, of Robesonia, officiating. Interment will be made in St. John's Cemetery, Host.
