11 May 2009: Aileen L. Beightol, 93, of Pleasant Gap, passed away Friday, May 8, 2009, at Centre Crest Nursing Home. Born Oct. 11, 1915, in Kaneville, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Michael Greninger and Katie Bailey Greninger. On July 5, 1934, in Sunbury, she married Stellard Beightol, who preceded her in death on April 3, 2001. Aileen attended school in Ilinois and was a homemaker. In addition to being a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, she was also a member of Centre Hall Eastern Star Centre Chapter #207 and Juniata Valley #121 Order of the Amaranth. She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting. Aileen is survived by three daughers, Sonja Bell (Jack), of Pleasant Gap, Twila Meyers, of Pleasant Gap, and Donna Reichenbaugh (Ken), of Hobe Sound, Fla; a son, Stellard T. Jr. (Peggy), of Pleasant Gap; a sister, Anieta Graham, of Hollidaysburg; a brother, Charles Greninger, of Bellefonte; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be private, at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. Kevin Shock officiating. Burial will be in Zion Union Cemetery, Walker Township. [Centre Daily]
