Born in Bristol, Vt., she came here in 1983 from Plainville, Conn., where she was a machine operator for 25 years at the Marlin-Rockwell TRW Corp. She was Catholic. Survivors include two daughters, Beth Goulet, St. Petersburg, and Ann Palmer, East Randolph, Vt.; three sons, John Timms, Charleston, S.C., Bob Johnson, Bristol, Conn., and Tadd Manila, Bristol, Vt.; three sisters, Hazel Hunt, Bristol, Conn., Gertrude Needham, Middlebury, Vt., and Mary Woodward, East Cornith, Vt.; two brothers, Charles Newton, Rochester, N.Y., and Flint Newton, Bennington, Vt.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
