Andrew Fritzius, 82, of 306 W. Cherry St., office manager at Cudahy Packing Co. in New Castle before retiring in 1954 and later an accountant at Precision Metals in Ellport until retirement in 1972, died in Shenango Valley Osteopathic Hospital, Farrell, on Feb. 14, 1986.
He was born in Pittsburgh on July 22, 1903, to George and Anna Elizabeth Hammond Fritzius. He married the former Ethel P. Alexander on Oct. 14, 1939, and she survives.
Mr. Fritzius was a member of Mahoning Methodist Church. He was also a member of Greater Beneficial Union No. 54.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Patrick R. Vereb Funeral Home, 101 W. Madison Ave. in Mahoningtown. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
