Mrs. Betha Jessup, 86, 511 S. Monroe St., widow of Charles Jessup, died at Ball Hospital Wednesday. Mrs. Jessup was born in Winchester, spent her early years there and resided most of her life in Muncie. When she retired she had been employed at Ball Hospital for more than 20 years. She was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance.
Surviving are a son, Hubert L. Stevens, with whom she made her home; eight grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Meeks Mortuary with Rev. Lloyd Penley of New Castle officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Maxville. Friends may call at the mortuary 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and before service time Friday.
