BOGALUSA - Lucille Penton, 98, died yesterday at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Elder Mason Miley of Pine;
a daughter-in- law, Bonnie Williams of Lee's Creek; a brother, J.L. Pounds of
Bogalusa; a sister, Nurcelia Magee of Franklinton; a half sister, Mattie Dupont of
Bogalusa; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Penton; two sons, Louis
Perron Williams and R.B. Williams.
Visitation will be held today at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. The Eld. Billy Powell willofficiate.
Interment will follow at Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery.
