Daisy was one of 15 children born to Lanson McGuire and Letticia Jane (Stewart) Neal. She had a twin brother, Dale, who grew to adulthood. Two other sets of twins were born to Lanson and Letticia. Two of her siblings died as infants, Ida A. and James S. and are buried here with her.
