Son of Robert Collet of Wendover, Buckinghamshire.

Husband of Lady Christian Collet.

Father of Reverend Father John Collet, Roman Catholic dean of Saint Paul's Cathedral and founder of Saint Paul's School.

Knighted by Henry VII in 1486 for his service during the Battle of Bosworth Field (1485). Served twice as Mayor of London (1486 and 1495). Sir Henry's house, known as "The Great Place," stood on the grounds adjoining Saint Dunstan's churchyard.
