Went to Washington Territory in 1866 with her son, Orlando, and daughter Flora. They were part of Asa Mercer's second group to travel from New England to Washington Territory. Susan and her children were joining Susan's husband, Daniel and two oldest daughters, Josie & Georgianna, who had gone to Washington Territory with Asa Mercer in 1964.
