Sarah C. Barton, 81, South Corbin, died Monday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elsie Rose, Roosevelt street.
She is survived by her husband, Alex Barton; four sons, George Shelby and Lonzo Barton, Corbin; Haynes Barton, Middlesboro, and Harold Barton, Bucyurs, Ohio; two daughters Mrs. Christine Hollins Bucyrus, Ohio, and Mrs. Elsie Rose, Corbin; 21 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren; two sisters, Nannie Shelby, Corbin, and Manervia Smith, Hazard.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Elmer Elliott. Burial will be in the Hart Cemetery in South Corbin.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
