John Milton Little, 76, of Denton, went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2009, after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born August 26, 1932, in Abbott, AR to Ivy Lorenzo and Lucy (Livingston) Little. He was a graduate of Heavener High School in Heavener, OK, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southwestern Oklahoma University in Weatherford, OK, in 1954. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a pharmacy officer during the Korean War. He also served in the reserve after active duty. John was a devoted employee of Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical Company for 35 years. He served as a District Sales Manager in Kansas City, MO; Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA and Dallas, TX. He was married to Susan A. Hill on June 22, 2004 in Eureka Springs, AR. He was a member of the New Life Church, Denton, TX.

John loved the Lord Jesus Christ, and treasured his family and friends. He had a passion for mission work. He loved serving the Lord in the Amazon, Africa, Russia, Mexico and Scandinavia. While he was ill, he spent countless hours reading and meditating on God's word. John was an eternal optimist that never allowed the way he felt physically to affect his unwavering spirit. He will be truly missed.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate John's life on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at 11 o'clock in the morning at the Robson Ranch Club House, with Pastor Jim Mann officiating. Memorials may be made to Amazon Outreach, P.O. Box 794763, Dallas, TX 75379.

Mr. Little is survived by his wife, Susan A. Little, of Denton, TX, son Jeff of Bedford, TX, daughter Jana Rochon and husband Dale, of Columbia, MD, son Jon and wife Darilynn, of Loveland, CO, and daughter Julie Makens and husband Jim, of Colleyville, TX. He is also survived by brothers Neal and wife Dorothy, of Edmond, OK, Oren and wife Ryuko of Austin, TX, Bob and wife June, of Arnold, MO, Wendell and wife Betty of Purcell, OK. , and sister Lou Scrivner and husband Gilbert, of Granbury, TX. He also leaves behind former wife, Sally (Manton) Brandt, fifteen precious grandchildren, cherished nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
