A long time Houston resident, she had worked for Palais Royal for several years and was a member of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God.
Survivors: daughter, Linda Mock; sons, Sherwood Powell and wife, Janelle, Gary Powell and wife, Winia, Koehler Powell and wife, June; sisters, Lottie Biggs, Opal Thedford, Maureen Claiborne; brother, Howard W. Thedford; grandchildren, Jason, Jonathon, Lauren, Rodrick, Rhonda, Joel, Kevin, and Eric Powell; great grandchildren, Julie and Jacob Powell.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 7, 1994, in the chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment in Forest Park East Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral Home from 4:P00 to 6:00 P.M., Sunday.
