Katherine McD. Wilson has a CSA pension on line in the GA Archives Virtual Vault. She says she married Claudius C. Wilson in 1852. He enlisted in April 1861 with Company D "Bryan Guards" of the 25th GA Vols. On Nov. 27, 1863 he was elected Colonel and commanded Walker's Brigade. He transferred to the Tennessee regiment. At the battle of Chicamauga he was promoted to Brig. General. At the retreat of Missionary Ridge, he died in Ringgold, Ga on Nov. 27, 1863.
