Ross Fisher, a well known farmer on the Cut-off, died Monday morning at four o'clock following a brief illness from stomach trouble. The deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fisher whose family has been connected with the island for many years. He was born Nov. 30, 1884, being almost 40 years of age. He is survived by a widow and five children, his parents and several brothers and sisters. He was a member of the M. W. of A., which order had charge of his funeral.
