PVT 19 CO COAST ARTILLERY
Lesley Lee Coleman, 68, Anthon, died Friday at the veterans hospital at Sioux Falls after a long illness. Funeral services were at 2PM Monday at the Wilson-Hull funeral home at Correctionville. Rev. MS Anderson will officiate. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Anthon.
Military rites were conducted at the grave side. Mr. Coleman was born in December, 1886 at Warren, Mo.
He went to the Anthon community in 1904 and had lived there most of his life. Mr. Coleman had made his home with a brother Russell at Correctionville, prior to his death. He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Opal Johnson of Reno, NV, and Mrs Evelyn Brown of Sioux City; two brothers, Ernest of Gregory, SD and Russell of Correctionville; a sister, Mrs Rose Green of Anthon, and 10 grandchildren.it:
