CARLISLE -- Benson L. Barrick, 75, of 806 N. Pitt St., died Monday in Carlisle Hospital.
He was a retired employee of Carlisle Tire and Rubber Co., and operated a welding shop in Newville for 17 years.
He was a member of St. Mary's United Methodist Church of Bloserville where he was a trustee for 40 years, and also was a member of the Cumberland Star Lodge 197, F&AM.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alverta Burkholder Barrick; a daughter, Mrs. Donna R. Stutenroth of Carlisle; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Group of Newville RD2; two half-sisters, Mrs. Helen Bloom of Newville, and Mrs. Alverta Thrush of Carlisle, and two grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home at 219 N. Hanover St. The Rev. Alex Quigley will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. A Masonic service is scheduled at 8.
