A graveside service will be Wednesday, August 13, 2003, in Pleasant View Cemetery in Oregon City for Russell Kenneth Amundson, who died Aug. 7 at age 77.
Mr. Amundson was born April 6, 1926, in Glenville, Minn. During World War II, he served in the Navy in the Aleutian Islands. He lived in Eugene before moving in 1968 to Clackamas. He was a truck driver for Southern Pacific Trucking for more than 30 years. In 1950, he married Elnora Jones; she died in 2002.
Survivors include his daughters, Linda Dell and Diane Effinger; sons, Tony, Steve and Dan; sister, Dorothy Johnson; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
