Daughter Finds Banker Dead With Clothing On Fire
Running to tell John C. Bockius that she smelled smoke, his daughter found the 72 year old bank official seated in a chair with his clothing in flames. Police carried him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Physicians expressed belief that Bockius who was real estate officer with the Germantown Trust Company, had suffered a heart attack, his cigar falling from his mouth and igniting his clothing.
