James Brook Curnow, 57 of 106 Arnold St. died Friday evening at McCook Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in Hartford, a son of the late James and Frances E. Curnow, he was a life long resident here. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Helen G. Curnow; and three half-brothers, Frederick H. Shubert of East Hartford, Francis H. Shubert of Simsbury and Harry S. Shubert of Hartford. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Morrison W. Johnson Funeral Home 749 Albany Ave.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today, 7 to 9 p.m.
