Funeral rites were conducted Tuesday afternoon In the Braun Funeral chapel for Mrs. Eva Decker, 89, longtime Wenatchee valley resident who died October 3 at the Cashmere Nursing home. Rev. Mr. James Moore conducted the service. Mrs. Robert Bates sing "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross", accompanied by Earl Barnes on the organ. Interment was at Cashmere cemetery with Art Simpson, Homer Doyle, John Fegley, Jim McKellar, Duane Blonden and George Lehman serving as casket bearers.
MRS. DECKER was born January 7, 1881, In Benzie county, Michigan, where she. grew to womanhood.
She was married to Sylvester Decker at Everett, August 4, 1900. They moved to Mansfield In 1912 and to the Cashmere area In 1921. Mr. Decker died in 1932.
Mrs. Decker was member of the Royal Neighbors.
She Is survived by two sons, Clyde of Cashmere, Orlie of Marysville.
