Leslie B. Adkins, 67, Meta, died Monday at his home. He had been in ill health for sometime.
Mr. Adkins was born March 5, 1903, in Maries County, the son of Butler and Mary Lambeth Adkins. He was married to Nellie May Pendleton on April 24, 1942. She survives.
Other survivers include: Two sons, Dennis Adkins and Samuel Adkins, both of Meta; one brother, Preston Adkins, Denver, Colo.; and one sister, Mrs. Effie Wilson, Union.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Birmingham Funeral Chapel, Vienna, with Walter Abbet, Meta, officiating. Burial will be Stokes Cemetery near Meta.
