Death Takes Lloyd Jones
CASHMERE, Wash., Dec. 30. Funeral services for Lloyd Jones, 65, who died at the Cashmere Nursing home Wednesday after a long illness, will be held at 2 p. m., tomorrow in the Kuelbs & Braun chapel. Funeral rites will be conducted by the Rev. Alvin Fischer, and graveside military services in the Cashmere cemetery will be conducted by Cashmere post No. 64, American Legion. ' Mr. Jones was born at Wilbur, there he enlisted in the United States army during World War I serving overseas with the American Expeditionary Forces, where he was a veteran of three major engagements. Following his discharge, he farmed in the Shertnan district near Wilbur for several years.

He married Lalia Carl, August 10, 1924, at Soap Lake, and they lived in western Washington till 1934, when they came to Cashmere, making their home here since that time.
