Andrew Adams was the son of Frank and Sarah Adams, both also buried at Bethany. He married Lizzie Q. McDowell. Andrew was a businessman and a farmer in Red River Parish and also served on the Red River Parish School Board. After the death of his first wife and the mother of his two daughters in 1949, he later married a widow, Mrs. Annalee Hunter Brown.
