Services for Mrs. Mary Brennan Tierney, 85, of 56 Redding Place, widow of Thomas J. Tierney, who died yesterday in Bridgeport hospital will take place Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Wilmot, West and Goulding funeral home, 1209 Post road, Fairfield, and at 10 o'clock in the Our Lady of Assumption church, Fairfield, with a requiem Mass of the Resurrection. Burial will be in the St. Thomas cemetery, Fairfield. Mrs. Tierney was a live long resident of the area. She was a member of the Our Lady of Assumption Guild. Survivors include a son, Thomas W. Tierney of Fairfield; four daughters, Mrs. Katherine Leahy, Mrs. Rita Anderson, and Mrs. Sally Farrell, all of Bridgeport, and Mrs. Marion Spreddo of Stafford Springs, and 18 grandchildren.
