James Bradley, aged 73, died Saturday, March 30, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marcus Young, in the Stewart section. Mr. Bradley was a well known and much esteemed citizen of the community where he resided. His funeral and burial was on Sunday afternoon at Carpenter's cemetery with services by the Rev. E. L. Ockerman. Surviving are the following: His widow, Mrs. Mary C. Bradley, two sons, Messrs. Oscar Bradley, Perryville; Newton Bradley and a daughter, Mrs. Marcus Young, both of Stewart.

Perryville, April 2 – Mr. James Bradley, about 75 years of age, died Saturday night in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mark Young, near Stewart, and was buried Sunday afternoon in Carpenters cemetery. Besides his wife, Mrs. Catharine Crutchfield Bradley, and his daughter, Mrs. Young, he is survived by two sons, Messrs. Oscar and Newton Bradley, this county.

On stone says born Mar 13, 1856 even though it looks like Mar 18, 1855, but death certificate states born Mar 18th, so going with that info. Staying with 1856 as it agrees with his 1860 census info, being 4 in 1860.
