NARA V. NELSON January 1, 1947 - August 30, 2006 Resident of Vacaville Passed away peacefully with family at her side. She was a loving mother and wife, a strong, but gentle woman who touched everyone she came in contact with. She is survived by her husband, Carl; her two sons, Travis and Brad (Dana) and her three grandchildren, Zachary, Samantha and Drake. She will be joining in heaven, her brothers, Alberto and Celestino and her parents, Lido and Ebe Cassettari. A native of Italy, age 59. Family and friends are invited to attend a vigiL on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Machado's HILLSIDE CHAPEL, 1051 Harder Rd., Hayward, CA. A funeral Mass and Liturgy will be held on Friday, September 8th at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 4025 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Oakland. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Oakland. Visiting hours will begin on Thursday, September 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Machado's HILLSIDE CHAPEL 510-537-6600.
