MOULTON -- Funeral for Clarence W. Kidd, 84, of Town Creek will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Milton Burks and Rev. Thomas Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 until 9 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mr. Kidd died Saturday, July 6, 2002, at Shoals Hospital. He was born Feb. 3, 1918, in Lawrence County to the late Dan Kidd and Fannie Roden Kidd. He was a service station operator. He was a deacon of Calvary Baptist Church, a member of Hatton Masonic Lodge 879 and a member of Hatton Eastern Star 482. He was the widower of Katie Scoggins Kidd. He was the brother of the late Clara Srygley.

Survivors include one daughter, Bettye Greene of Hatton; two brothers, James Kidd of Alvarado, Texas, and Tennis Kidd of San Antonio; one sister, Mae Scoggins of Hatton; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gary Scoggins, Waid McCreless, Neal Hall, Rudy Beck, Marshall Lewey, Rocky Robertson, Clyde King and Gary Bogle.
