James William Robertson, 82, died at 2:35 pm Monday in Baylor County Hospital here. He had been a county resident for 50 years and lived at 515 S Washington St. here.
Born April, 15, 1881, in Hopkins County, he was a barber and a farmer.
He was a member of First Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge here.
Funeral will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in First Methodist Church with the Rev. David Binkley, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Ross Anderson, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Round Timber Cemetery under direction of Elliston Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Bell of Seymour; four sons, Wayne and Orland of Seymour, Esca of Del Rio and Robert of New Haven, Conn.; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Garner and Markaleta Hamby of Seymour, and Mrs. Dorothy Webb of Matador; one brother, Clarence of Seymour; one sister, Mrs. Della Aytes of Round Timber, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
