Deacon, Noah Hopkins was born Jan. 24, 1730/1735 (depending on source) at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT to Capt. Stephen Hopkins (1706-67) and Jemima Bronson (1706-92).
He married Mary Paine in 1751 and they had six children. He came to Pittsford, VT in 1784 after the Rev. War. served as lieutenant in the Dutchess County militia under his brother, Col. Russell Hopkins 1778. He lived in Amenia, Dutchess, New York during the Revolution and died in Pittsford, Vt. (thank you Douglas Robinson)
