Mrs. Ruth Onita Tarpley died at her residence in Dayton Wednesday morning, November 21. She was born August 29, 1892, in Walla Walla and had lived here for the past several years.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. R.L. Buris of Dayton; her husband Oscar W. Tarpley of Dayton; a son, Wesley Tarpley of Seattle; four sisters, Mrs. Bessie McPhearson and Mrs. Mary Kelly, both Dayton, Mrs. Grace Bancroft of Walla Walla and Mrs. Bessie McPhearson of Lynden, Wash., and a brother, Robert Burns of Tieton, Wash.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday afternoon here.
