Robert E. Bowen,60, son of a pioneer Columbia county family,died enroute to Brining Memorial Hospital Tuesday evening, February 26.
Born April 17, 1902, he was the son of the late Farmer and Iva Bowen. Mr. Bowen farmed on Eckler Mountain for a period of time before moving to Starbuck. He was a member of the Columbia County Farm Bureau.
He and the former Esther Pence, who survives, were married January 10, 1926,
