Born April 14, 1883, northwest of Carthage, she was a retired teacher and had spent her lifetime in the Carthage area. She was married March 17, 1917 at Carthage to Mark E Amsden who died August 8, 1957.
Mrs Amsden was a member of the United Methodist Church
Survivors include a niece Mrs Dortha Anderson, 1002 Olive and 2 nephews, M H Wakefield Morgan Heights and Chet Wakefiled Liberal KS.
