Adela Cuyler, 90 and a former resident of 150 East First St. in Oswego died Tuesday morning at St. Luke Health Service's Inc. She was born in Fair Haven and was the daughter of the late Clifton and Emily Babcock Adams. She was the widow of Edwin E. Cuyler who died September 27, 1999. Mrs. Cuyler had been employed at the Oswego Candy Works, General Electric and more recently as the deli clerk at the IGA grocery store in Oswego. She enjoyed bunko, sewing, cooking, crafts and spending time with her family. She is survived by 2 daughters Pearl Walpole and Betty Beginski, one son Charles Cuyler all of Oswego, one sister Ethel Johnson of Sandy Pond, 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren 13 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Beatrice Arroway and a grandson Daniel Ellingwood. Funeral services will be Friday 9:30AM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Inc with Rev. Gail Eddy officiating. Calling hours Thursday 4-7PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to St. Luke John Foster Burden Fund 299 E. River Rd.
