For Dave Allen
Final rites for Dave Allen, 74, retired butcher, who died in Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon, were held at 4 p. m Friday from the Corley Chapel with burial in the Pattison Cemetery at Emhouse.
The rites were conducted by Rev. Robert Wooddy, pastor of the First Baptist church, and Rev. O. A. Hendry, pastor of Emhouse First Baptist church.
He resided at Emhouse before moving to Corsicana.
Surviving are his wife of 517 North Fourteenth street, Corsicana; four daughters, Mrs. H. L. Pope, Tyler; Mrs. Paul Harvey, Gainesville; Mrs. D. H. Hughes, Corsicana, and Mrs. Lloyd Gillen, Emhouse; six grandchildren three great-grandchildren, two brothers, Joel Allen, Emhouse, and Raymond Allen, Mexia; a sister, Mrs. D. O. Richards, Corsicana, and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Sam Allen, Elmer Allen, Kenneth Allen.
