Mrs. James Conklin of Rockton Dies at Beloit
Rockton, Nov. 10. - Delia LaVerna Johnson Conklin, wife of James Conklin, residing west of here, died this morning in the Beloit Municipal hospital following an operation performed Monday.
Mrs. Conklin was born on the homestead of her parents, west of here, Aug. 13, 1893. Her marriage occurred March 15, 1915. She is survived by her husband, her mother, , Mrs. Charlotte Johnson of Rockton, two sons, Forrest, 15, and Willard, 13, a daughter, Barbara, 7, a sister, Mrs. Lester Roberts, Chicago, and a brother, George, of Rockton.
Mrs. Conklin was a member of the Starlight chapter of the Eastern Star and the Gleaners class of the M. E. church. Services will be held Saturday but the time is indefinate.
