Duchess of Mantua and Montferrat.

She was a sister of Johanna of Austria, who married Francesco I de' Medici, thus making Eleonora the aunt of Marie de' Medici, Queen of France.
Eleonora was firstly buried in the Holy Trinity Church in Mantua. In 1855 she was reburied in the Cathedral of Mantua.
