Services for C. T. Butler, 73, of Muskogee, were Friday at 10 a.m. in Bradley Chapel with Rev. Lin McNatt officiating. Burial was in Porter Cemetery.
Born August 9, 1906, in Ranger, Texas, he died Wednesday, September 19, 1979, in Muskogee General Hospital.
He was the son of William and Sadie Butler and was a retired dairyman. He was a member of the Baptist Church and graduated from Porter High School in 1926.
Survivors include his wife, Maud of the home; two sons, Lt. Col. Norman Butler of Abilene, Texas, and Pat Butler of Muskogee; a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Jane) Scroggins of Sherman, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Ligon of Porter and Madge Tetter of 29 Palms, California; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
