Elymas H. Walker, 73, R3 Carlisle, died at 4 a.m. today, April 23, 1984, in his residence.
He was born October 8, 1910, the son of Vincent and Bessie (Brower) Walker. He was a member of the Oakland Church of Christ, a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion Post 236, and a retired painter.
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn; a daughter, Linda Burnell, Terre Haute; and a granddaughter, Lesley Burnell, Terre Haute.
Services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shaker Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
