CATHERINE LARIMER

Catherine Rebecca Weaver, daughter of George and Harriet Weaver, was born on January 8, 1854, in Lucas county, Iowa, and passed away January 8 1933, on the anniversary of her birth, at the home where she was born, at the age of 79 years.

On September 8, 1881, she was united in marriage to Wilson A. Larimer, at Chariton, Iowa. To this union seven children were born: George H., Richard C., Mrs. Grace Sellers, all of Russell, Iowa; Bentley C., John C., and Milton T., all of Orange, Calif., and Mrs. Lucy Parsons, who passed away at Fairfield eleven years ago. The husband preceded her in death nine years ago.

When a girl she united with the Lutheran church at Maryville, Iowa, and still retained her membership at that place.

With the exception of a few years lived in Russell, she has spent a useful life on the farm where she was born, her work being a pleasure instead of a duty.

Besides the immediate family, she leaves to mourn her passing, three nieces, Mrs. Miles S. Johnson, Mrs. Harriet Sweet and Mrs. C. A. Rove of Lewiston, Idaho, fifteen grandchildren and many other relatives, friends and neighbors.

Funeral services were held at the Russell Methodist church, Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 10, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. E. Clark. Interment was in the Russell cemetery.
