Imogene May Bryant Ramey, 90, of Terre Haute, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 in Union Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born on April 25, 1919 in Terre Haute, Vigo, IN to Isaac Davis BRYANT and Ora Belle BULLIS.
She married Hughie Miller RAMEY (son of Harvey RAMEY and Mary Ann MILLER) on Sep 10, 1938 in Terre Haute, Vigo, IN. She loved God, her family and friends.
Her hobbies were writing poems, playing bingo, euchre, bunko, penny ante poker, Texas Hold'em, going to yard sales, loved music (Lawrence WELK), loved dancing, singing, reading, and board games. She was a member of the Grandmothers Club and the Foster Grandmothers. She attended 4th Avenue Methodist Church and Grace Methodist Church. She worked at Popoff's Cleaners, Felix Cleaners, Columbia Records, and Rueben Donnelly.
She is survived by her daughters Sandra Faye "Sandy" NEICE and Jeri Lynn (Kenneth Ross "Kenny") LAWRENCE, and a son James Lee "Jimmy or James" (Diane SCHERER) RAMEY.

Visitation is from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St. with services following. Pastor Adam MILLAR and Pastor Dennis SANDERS will be officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
