May B. Beatty Richards, 103 PENDLETON, Ind. - May R Beatty Richards, 103, 106 Madison Ave., died Wednesday evening in her home after a long illness. She was the mother of Dean Finer of Muncie. Mrs. Richards was born in Byrdstown, Tern, and had lived in Pendleton since 1976. She was a member of the Meadows Grove Baptist Church, Pine Knot Ky. Her husband, William Elzie Richards, died in 1968. A son, Price Richards, died in 1987. She is survived by two sons, James P. Richards, Pendleton, and Ted Q. Richards, Silsbee, Texas; another daughter, Ruby Baltimore, Pendleton; a sister, Pearl Ashburn, Livingston, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Wilson St Pierre Bright Chapel, 211 E. State St, with Rev. Carl Cloud presiding. A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Pine Knot Cemetery, Pine Knot Ky. Calling hours are 4-6 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral chapel and 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Hickman-Strunk Hickman-Strunk Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home, Whitley City, Ky.
