Son of William Mitchell Allen Sr. & Eliza E. Welker. He lived on a farm in Walton Township, Missouri from his birth to the mid 1920s. In 1930, he lived in Brenton, Missouri. He was married to Lois Lingsweiler. They had a daughter named Astrid Allen. He worked as a real estate salesman. He lived on Route 1 in Burnsville, North Carolina. He passed away on December 21, 1992 at Yancey Nursing Center (6 Cooper Lane) in Burnsville, North Carolina. The cause of death was acute cardio cerebral vascular event, due to arteriosclerotic vascular disease. He also had deep vein thrombosis and atrial fibrillation in July 1992. The funeral was at Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home in Burnsville, North Carolina. His remains were cremated at Maple Grove Crematory in Asheville, North Caroline. His ashes were soon interred between graves of his mother and father at Adams Cemetery in Frankclay, Missouri.
