DEATHS.
SUSAN H. BERNARD.
Susan H. Bernard, the wife of William R. Bernard, a real estate dealer living 3906 Penn street, died at 1 o'clock yesterday morning, of Bright's disease, from which she had suffered for nearly a year. Mrs. Bernard was 61 years of age, having been born in 1834. She was the daughter of John Harris, one of the oldest settlers of Westport, and a sister of Mrs. John Mastin and Mrs. Thomas Mastin.

Burial of Mrs. Bernard.
Mrs. Susan H. Bernard, wife of Judge W. B. [sic] Bernard of Westport, who died Tuesday morning of Bright's disease, was laid to rest in Union cemetery this morning. Many of the old citizens of Westport and Kansas City attended the funeral.

FUNERALS.

Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Susan H. Bernard, who died April 9 of Bright's disease, were held at Warfield chapel at 10 o'clock yesterday morning. The services were conducted by Rev. Moore and Rev. Madeira. The remains were interred in Union cemetery.
