Myra Allison

Services will be held Tuesday for Mrs. Myra Allison, 87, formerly of 548 S. Canal St., Canal Fulton, who died Sunday at 8:45 a.m. in the Nentwick Convalescent Home here; where she had been a patient since 1972. Mrs. Allison was born May 24, 1888, in New Manchester, W.Va., a daughter of Robert Shay and Mary Shay. She was a member of the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church, where she served as organist, and was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 180. Her husband, Hugh C. Allison, died July 11, 1962. The rites will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lonnie Baltz of the LaCroft Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery, Hookstown. Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and tonight, where Eastern Star services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today.
