Clyde Alexander rites are today at Praise Chapel.

Funeral services for Clyde R. Alexander, 44, who died Friday night at his home one and one-half miles southeast of New Pittsburgh, will be conducted today at 2 p. m. at the Praise Chapel Church of God located on the Randolph-Jay county line. Rev. Eugene V. Rice will officiate. Burial will be in the New Pittsburgh cemetery.

Death followed a ten-days' illness from uremic poisoning.

Mr. Alexander was the son of James U. and Sarah Alice (Stump) Alexander and was married on March 24, 1923 to Treva Marsh, who survives. Other survivors are a son, Errol W., and a daughter, Twyla E., both at home, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. R. A. Walling of Ridgeville route 3, Miss Dessie Alexander of Union City route 2, Mrs. Howard Spencer of Dunkirk, Mrs. George J. Fowler of Union City route 2, Harley of Anderson, Perry of Hamilton, Ohio, and Samuel of Fort Wayne. A brother and sister are deceased.

Mr. Alexander had lived on the farm where he died for 20 years. The body was returned to the residence Sunday from the Williamson funeral home at Portland.
