OBITUARY:
"Mrs. Catherine Holthaus
FT. LORAMIE, Oct. 4 - Requiem high mass will be celebrated in St. Michael's Catholic church at 9 a.m. Friday for Mrs. Catherine Holthaus, 83, a lifelong resident here, who died Monday night in Piqua Memorial hospital. Msgr. Anthony Moeller will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Holthaus was born July 26, 1867. She married Frederick Holthaus in 1887 and he died in 1920.
Seven children, Bernard and Joseph Holthaus here, William, at home, Henry, Sidney, Mrs. Theresa Weber, Dayton, Miss Anna, at home; Mrs. Frances Boeke, Ft. Loramie; 28 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph and Frank Barhorst, both of Newport, and a sister, Mrs. Theresa Eilers, Sidney, survive.
