BISHOP
Ruby Leavins Bishop, 95, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, Died Monday, May 15, 2006 at a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Bishop; and two sons, William Clifford "Deets" Bishop and Albert "Jimbo" Bishop.
Survivors include four sons, Gerald (Frances) bishop, Clarence (Sandra) Bishop, David (Doris) Bishop and Robert (Linda) Bishop, all of Fairhope; a daughter, Betty Jean Robbins of Heidelburg, Miss.; 22 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 18 at Barnwell Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Tucker officiating. Burial followed at Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
The family requests donations to the Barnwell Baptist Church Building Fund.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes and Crematory, Fairhope.
