In the town of Lima, Wis., Feb. 23d, 1881, Mrs. Betsey, wife of Roley Godfrey, aged 77 years, 5 months, and 19 days. Aunt Betsey was a lovely woman, and greatly beloved by a large circle of friends and relatives. She had been a consistent member of the church at Milton nearly forty years. The funeral exercises were held in the Seventh-day Baptist church at Milton, and many sympathizing and bereaved friends were present. She has gone to her reward, and left behind to her friends the cheering words, "Meet me in glory." E. M. D.

In 1860 census, Betsey was born about 1807 and living with husband "Rola" in Lima. This stone was propped up by a toolshed, among a pile of stones.
