Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 30th at Maple Lawn Baptist Church with Rev. C.A. Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Rumley was born in Rockingham County to the late William Jefferson Walker and Lucy Tickle Walker . She retired from Unifi with 27 years of service and was a member of Maple Lawn Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Walker.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Jack Rumley of the home; daughter, Lisa G. Robertson and husband, Eddie of Burlington, NC; step children, Mike Rumley and wife, Amy of Stokesdale, Craig Rumley and wife, Karen of Burlington, Brian Rumley and wife, Lisa of Silverton, CO, Lisa Welborn and husband, Randy of Burlington, Jeff Rumley and wife, Tonja of Browns Summit, and Joel Rumley of California; grandchildren, Deanna and Jennifer Grubbs; one great grandchild.
